Kylie is a Senior Lecturer in Molecular Biology in the Curtin Medical School at Curtin University, in a teaching and research role. She teaches Molecular Genetics and Bioinformatics. The main focus of her research is alpaca colour genetics. Since 2005 she has worked hand-in-hand with alpaca owners and breeders and researchers from all over the world to try to answer the many questions about how different color alpacas can be bred predictably.
Marty McGee Bennett’s first llama jumped off the back of a pickup truck and into her heart in 1981. Since then, Marty has devoted her professional life to the well-being of llamas and alpacas and the education of camelid enthusiasts.
She brings a variety of experience and qualifications to her work with camelids, including a B.S. degree in Animal Behavior and many years spent as a professional fiber artist.
Rebecca Gill is the co-owner of Cotton Creek Farms in Northern Michigan. She and her husband operate an active alpaca farm that offers breeding, interactive tours, an onsite retail store, and an active e-commerce business. Rebecca also owns a digital marketing agency and has twenty years of experience in website development, search engine optimization, and social media management.
Elizabeth Bernard, aka Buffy, is from Southern Illinois. She has been farming in some capacity, since learning you could mail order chicks. She, her husband Jeffrey and their five children own and operate Bernard Family Farm. Bernard Family Farm is a century plus farm owned direct line by the Bernard Family since 1914. Since owning alpacas, Buffy and her family’s’ passion has been to share and educate the community about alpacas and the other animals that call their farm home.
Wade Gease is an AOA-certified senior alpaca judge, judge training instructor, presenter, designer, and consultant/mediator for the worldwide alpaca industry. He is a previous owner and manager of a sustainable alpaca ranch for eighteen years. Wade earned an associate degree in Aeronautical Science, a bachelor’s degree in chemistry & a master degree in Biochemistry. He is also a Camelid Fibre Sorter certified from Olds College Natural Fibre Centre, Canada.
Dave Krebs has written numerous tax books and recently completed a new book called "Save a Million, Give a Million." Dave has presented to over 100,000 accountants and small business owners across the United States over the last 30 plus years.
In 1985, he created the CPA Advisory Group, Inc., a 5 million dollar, 30 member tax, accounting, consulting and investment advisory firm located in Columbus, Ohio.
